Hazard Assessment
A Hazard Assessment is an on-site evaluation conducted by the District’s Cross Connection Control Specialist to identify potential cross-connections or other conditions that could threaten the safety of the public water system. The assessment helps determine whether water use activities, equipment, or plumbing configurations on a property could allow contaminants to enter the drinking water supply and identifies any necessary measures to protect public health and water quality.
